I didnt actually choose this movie to watch because my dad chose to watch it i cant really tell you much about it because i was playing a game while i was watching and wasnt really paying attention it is a documentary about emperor penguins and is narrated by Morgan Freeman i cant really give it a mark out of ten because its a documentary

a) i havent really read any books or seen many movies but one book i was reading was the wyrd sisters by terry pratchet.

b) i havent actually had any highs or lows in my reading because i havent read much

c) I havent learnt anything from the books ive read or tv programs i watched because they were all fiction

d) no i dont think ive improved because ive forgotten to do my reading and viewing so ive probably stayed the same in ym reading ability.

e) i dont think that the blogging has helped me with my writing because i havent done much this semester

f) i will try to improve the amount of reading and viewing posts i do so my achievable goals for next year are to do for reading and viewing

 Type of film: comedy/fantasy/family   The setting This movie is based in the year 2000 in Los Angeles.  

The characters       Russel, the main character is an image consultant that is a jerk with no friends, Rusty his younger self is fat and annoying but kind, Amy the closest thing he has to a friend is kind and bites her fingernail.  

Main parts of the story         A little way through the story Russel comes home and sees a kid run passed in his drive way then goes to sleep, gets woken up by a noise outside he goes outside and finds a toy plane from his childhood. He goes back inside and puts it on the table then goes back to sleep. Then he gets woken up again and goes out to find the kid inside his house he chases the kid to an airstrip and into a place called the Skyway Diner which then disappears. Then he is watching T.V leaves the room then hears the T.V changing channels he goes in and finds the same kid in his chair, then he finds out that is his younger self Rusty from 32 years ago. Russel and Rusty set out to find out why Rusty has gone through time learning about each other and both becoming better people. I’m not going to say anymore because I don’t want to spoil the movie.  

My opinion of the film       I think the movie is quite good and has an excellent story line. I think it would appeal to the whole family especially young children so I would recommend it to the whole family. I’d give it a 7/10 for special effects and a 9/10 for storyline and overall an 8/10

Even though i think old people should need a licence to drive a gopher it doesn’t stop me. When i went to sydney to visit my relatives i went to visit my grandpa (before hea was diagnosed with alzymas) i had a go on his gopher (because he wouldn’t use it). they actually go quite fast, i was riding it around his large backyard. But when my 2 cousins (12 and 13) he told them to take it for a ride. so they took it out. they literally left the house and the police brought them home for doing burnouts some where.

This article is on the fact that old people that get their license revoked can get a gopher and can wreak havoc as gophers are incredibly dangerous. i think its a good idea to make gopher licenses manditory as a gopher hit the frame of our caravan once and lodged it under the caravan then told the police investigating that my dad should have know he was blind in his left eye.

Miami Vice 

I have recently viewed Miami Vice I didn’t choose to view it because my parents did. 

Miami Vice is about drug dealers, gangs, sex, police, criminals, guns and people’s anatomy flying left and right. I don’t have really have a best bit at all because the plot isn’t very good but the special effects are so I would say my favourite bits are as follows: When the drug dealers open fire on the police and his arm gets shot off, when a guy runs in front of a truck and a trail of blood is left behind and when someone is shot in the head and a cloud of blood appears behind their head. The only reason I like these scenes is not because they’re gory but because they have great special effects. The worst bit is the actual plot as even all the reviews think it has a terrible plot. 

My over all opinion is that its plot is terrible but its special effects are great. I’d give it a 51/2 out of 10 for the plot and an 8/10 for the special effects.

you me and dupree is about 2 people that get married and then the grooms best man and best friend ends up living in a bar because he got fired and evicted. the groom, chris insists dupree come and stays with him and his new wife for a couple of days until he gets back on his feet. i wont describe it really because its full of content not appropriate for school but its a comody. i give it a 7/10 recomend it to people over 12 and it wasnt the best movie ive seen so i didnt really have a favourite and least favourite part.

the purpose of the ad is to convince parents to buy this for their kids so there kids get more vitamins
